Guest：Expect to stay in a inn instead of a hotel as it’s located in an old traditional house. The plug points and tv is spoiled. The fixtures are old and worn out. The only good thing is the location and the view you get for the waterfall.
Guest：100% recommend. Clean rooms with cozy balcony. The garden is beautiful with view on the waterfall. Its is a family hotel and everyone is very welcoming and helpful. They explain very well the town and how to see the shows. Food is also very nice!
Guest：Furong is a relatively small town and this hotel is like 3 minutes walk from the entrance where taxis will drop off and pick up. Some important things to clarify that I was confused about: - Most of the water facing balcony rooms don't have a full view of the waterfall. HOWEVER, from their back patio, there is a full view (see my pic) if you want a good spot to take pictures. - The owner can help arrange rides to and from the train station. It was 20 rmb each way for me. They will also meet you or take you and your luggage to the entrance of the village. As a foreigner, I added them on WeChat and messaged them using translated messages to coordinate. I don't think there is Didi in the area so I recommend this route. - Breakfast consists of noodles and an egg if want (traditional Hunan breakfast), and some plain bread. They also had some sticky rice dessert thing in a steamer. You could drink hot water, instant coffee, or milk. - I know others complained about the rooms being old or not clean, but for what it was, it was fine by me given you're staying in an old village. - I would recommend staying here again if you're checking out Furong for 24 hours.
